Project Overview

Where Corporate Precision Meets Event Energy

Staffing Industry Analysts is a global research and advisory organization serving staffing firms, workforce-solutions providers, enterprise buyers, and industry executives. Its work spans market intelligence, professional development, research, editorial publishing, and major conferences across North America and Europe.

Designing for SIA meant moving between several visual languages inside one organization. Corporate communication required structure and precision. Research and editorial design demanded information hierarchy. Conferences called for stronger visual energy, distinction, and scale. The challenge was to move fluidly between all of them while maintaining clarity, quality, and recognizable brand discipline.

Design Approach

The Graphic Design Manager role functioned as a highly hands-on creative position, with responsibilities closely aligned to art direction across conference branding, corporate communication, research reports, social media campaigns, presentations, and digital marketing. Concepts and visual direction were developed collaboratively within the marketing organization, with major work reviewed by the Marketing Director and, for higher-visibility initiatives, senior leadership.

Business objectives were translated into visual communication designed to inform, engage, and move audiences toward action. Conference themes, executive presentations, research publications, digital campaigns, and global event promotion each required a different balance of information, energy, and brand control.

Creative leadership also meant navigating feedback well. Some concepts moved quickly; others strengthened through discussion and refinement. The result was a working approach built around strong ideas, collaboration, adaptability, and the ability to carry approved creative direction through large, multi-format campaigns.
