CWS Summit Europe 2023

London’s financial district became the visual anchor for a conference serving one of the world’s most sophisticated contingent-workforce audiences. CWS Summit Europe carried that sense of place across digital, social, presentations, motion, speaker and sponsor promotion, and live-event applications, combining art direction, visual design, international B2B branding, and production for a global executive audience.

Project Overview

Designing for a Global Stage

CWS Summit Europe brings together contingent-workforce management professionals, enterprise buyers, workforce leaders, and industry experts from across Europe and beyond. The audience operates inside complex global organizations, so the identity needed to communicate international credibility while still creating a distinctive event experience.

The London financial district provided a natural visual anchor. Rather than treating the city as decoration, the campaign used its architecture and business character to establish a clear sense of place that could support SIA’s cobalt-blue and yellow conference palette across digital, presentation, social, motion, and live-event formats.

Project Goal

Create a sophisticated location-based conference identity that feels distinctly London while remaining coherent across digital, presentation, social, motion, and live-event formats.

Deliverables

Conference Visual Identity, Website Graphics, Speaker & Sponsor Badges, Presentation Templates, Signage, Social Media, Animated Instagram Stories.

Design Approach

Location-based conference design works best when the place becomes part of the visual logic rather than a background photograph. London’s financial district supplied geometry, scale, and atmosphere that could be carried from website heroes into speaker graphics, presentation templates, signage, social media, and motion.

The system had to remain coherent across radically different proportions, from large-format event graphics to the narrow vertical frame of an Instagram Story. Consistent typography, color, composition, and image treatment allowed the location to stay recognizable without turning the conference into a tourism campaign.

The result is an international event identity that feels specific to London while remaining firmly within SIA’s enterprise brand framework.
