Who Is Tiffany?
Four weeks after what was thought to be a simple Achilles
tendon surgery, 36 year old Tiffany Smith Snow’s
life ended abruptly as a probable result of deep vein
thrombosis (DVT).
In life, as a mother, a daughter, a wife, a sister, friend
and athlete, Tiffany was enthusiastic, sincere, vibrant,
loving and giving to not only family and friends, but
to her community at large.
Project
Tiffany, a 501(c) (3) non profit organization was established
April 2006, in honor of Tiffany Smith Snow. It was created
by her mother, Janet, and her daughters Adriene and Autumn.
The
mission of Project Tiffany is to advance the education,
support, and advocacy of deep vein thrombosis (DVT);
as well as, increase the life chances for those with the
condition.
Project Tiffany embodies the essence of empowerment over
ones own health:mind, body and spirit.
Even in death, she continues to serve.
Tiffany
leaves a legacy.
What legacy does she leave? She
leaves many to mourn, but more important,
her posthumous message is powerful:
•
Know the risk factors for DVT
•
Know your family health history
•
Know the treatment and prevention
of this silent deadly condition.
•
Don’t let this silent epidemic
rob you and your loved ones
of an abundant life!
STOP DVT in its tracks!
