ABOUT THE AUTHOR

The author of award winning, "Letters to My Sisters", Ngozi Osuagwu, M.D. FACOG attended The Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland graduating in 1986 with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. She attended medical school in State University of New York at Buffalo and graduated with a Doctor of Medicine degree in May 1990. Dr. Osuagwu completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center, an affiliate of Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City.

Since 1995, Dr. Osuagwu has made Central Ohio her home and worked with Central Ohio Medical Group, Inc for a couple of years as an attending ob/gyn before starting her solo private practice, The Healthy Woman, Inc. in 1997. For eight years, she was a solo practitioner before being invited to join the teaching faculty of Doctors Hospital in Columbus. She is also part of a three-doctor private practice. Doctor Osuagwu is a board certified obstetrician/gynecologist and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
