Academic Enrichment (GED): Your high school diploma or graduate equivalency diploma (GED) is the foundation on which your future rests. Many places offer GED prep courses, but our course uses trained instructors from Columbus State and carries a proved track record. Some students will qualify for financial aid.

Basic English/ English as a Second Language: Columbus State's Language Institute offers basic training in English for students coming from other countries. It also provides classes in foreign languages for native English speakers. Additionally, the institute can provide customized training for your business in language and culture.

Integrated Systems Technology: The Integrated Systems Technology lab is a place where people can learn high-tech manufacturing skills. The lab includes training equipment similar to what's found on the manufacturing floor, as well as training plans developed by major industries. Businesses can send their workers here for training, and some individuals can come and take courses.

Orientation to Trades and Apprenticeships: The OTAP program provides basic work skills for people entering the work force, or returning to the work force. We offer programs for adults and as well as for those fresh out of high school. OTAP graduates have a credential they can show prospective employers and get a good job.
